Made in Blender 2.82 and rendered with Eevee. 100% procedural shaders.
Still a lot of areas to improve and hard to achieve the results I want without resorting to non procedural techniques. And it seems that whenever an object's screen space refraction is enabled, its ambient occlusion is gone, which means I can't use the AO node in the material. Also quite hard to achieve realistic translucent materials with this engine's limitation as as you see with the Siew Mai's skin wrapper.
